Karra McDonnell is an art educator and fine art photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. After growing up in rural Indiana, she studied photography at Southern Illinois University, graduating in 1999. She later earned an MAed and has been an arts educator since 2008 in Chicago, Kentucky Cincinnati, and Philadelphia. Her work explores themes of childhood, human nature, and the eccentric nature of the American landscape. Karra specializes in vintage cameras and traditional silver based darkroom printing.
